Decadent Enrichment Programme for Eden, curated by Dani Gill.
Marriage in Ireland, 2021
The Irish divorce rate is at an all-time high. Why? Are people leaving relationships that aren’t right for them? Is it national fatigue? Or is it the change to the length of legal separation time?
Kate Gunn, Irish author of Untying the Knot, How to Consciously Uncouple in the Real World, Peter McNamara, writer, journalist and editor of Holy Show Arts and Culture magazine and Maeve Fitzgerald, ‘Breda’, from Decadent Theatre Company’s most recent production Eden, sit down to chat about how an actor prepares for such a play and tour, and about marriage in Ireland, using EDEN as a starting point.
The three panelists recorded this fascinating and wide-ranging podcast on relationships and marriage in contemporary Ireland the morning after Eden’s performance on 28th October at Draiocht, Blanchardstown.
